Baru je lepas habis tengok semi final AJL 29. Finally umumkan keputusan untuk tahun ini. Ada 12 lagu semuanya dipilih untuk berentap di peringkat akhir nanti. 12 lagu tersebut adalah

Berbanding tahun lepas, aku rasa persaingan tahun ni lebih sengit kot. Antara lagu-lagu favorite aku untuk tahun ni adalah Masih Aku Cinta, Di Pintu Syurga, Percayalah, Sesal Separuh Nyawa dan Matahari. Cuma sedikit hairan bila lagu Mewangi tak dapat masuk final. Hmmm. Okaylah. Final akan ditayangkan dalam bulan Januari biasanya. Tak sabar!!!
Panjang betul tajuk album baru Mariah Carey. Berbelit lidah nak sebut. Mariah Carey memang antara penyanyi kegemaran aku dan vokal dia memang sangat best dan unik. Album baru ini merupakan album yang keempat belas daripada Mariah Carey. Berikut adalah album studionyanya yang lain.
Me, I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse
Album ini actually dah tertangguh lama. Even single pertamanya pun dah lama keluar iaitu Beautiful. Dah hampir setahun kot. Aku agak suka lagu tu. Tapi single kedua dan ketiga, iaitu The Art of Letting Go dan You're Mine agak kurang sikit. A little bit basic for me. Namun aku still dengar album ini dari track yang pertama sampai terakhir sebelum membuat sebarang pertimbangan. Keseluruhannya, album ini agak mendukacitakan sedikit. I think it's too heavy.
Dari segi nilai komersial, album ini agak lemah. I just can't pick any good songs to be her next single. Tetapi vocally, Mariah Carey is still amazing. Cuma album ini tiada killer song yang dapat menjual album ini kecuali Beautiful. Album ini juga merupakan album Mariah Carey yang mencatat jumlah jualan paling buruk. Totally expected that.
Aku masih lagi demam 'The Fault in our Stars'. Sekarang ni time free jer, mesti dengar soundtrack filem ini di Spotify. Banyak lagu-lagu yang best tapi yang paling menarik perhatian aku adalah Boom Clap dari Charli XCX.

Ed Sheeran merupakan salah seorang penyanyi lelaki paling berbakat di dalam penulisan lagu. Setiap lagu dia memang mampu menyentuh perasaan pendengar. Antara lagu kegemaran aku di dalam album Ed yang pertama berjudul + (Plus) pada tahun 2011 adalah The A Team. Lego House dan juga Give Me Love. Kini setelah 3 tahun, Ed muncul dengan album keduanya iaitu X (Multiply). So secara automatiknya korang boleh jangka album dia yang ketiga akan mengambil judul simbol matematik yang lain seperti 'minus' dan 'divide'.

Single pertama dari album X adalah Sing yang telah dipasarkan pada April yang lalu. Lagu yang telah menjuarai beberapa carta di seluruh dunia, merupakan sebuah lagu yang agak berlainan daripada lagu-lagu yang pernah dirakamkan oleh Ed. Malah kebanyakan lagu yang dimuatkan dalam album ini mempunyai mood yang berlainan dengan lagu-lagu dari album pertama. Vokal Ed memang mantap. Dia lebih berani menggunakan falsetto dan juga lebih kreatif dari segi penyampaian.
My personal favorite? So hard.. But if I have to pick one, it's definitely going to be Photograph. Such a beautiful and meaningful song. I love it so much. Single kedua masih lagi belum dikeluarkan so aku berharap Photograph akan dipilih sebagai single kedua.
Semalam, lirik video untuk debut single dari Alex & Sierra telah dilancarkan di Youtube. I'm such a huge fan of them since The X Factor lagi and they didn't let me down with their first single. I played this song countless times now. Not sure when this song will be available on Itunes and Spotify but here is the song and lyrics for that beautiful song.

Masa zaman aku sekolah menengah dulu, aku cukup suka dengar muzik dari band-band seperti Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Busted, Blink 182 dan banyak lagi lah. Tapi sayangnya muzik Pop/Rock/Punk ni agak tenggelam sedikit tapi lately banyak band-band macam ni muncul kembali. Antara 3 band muzik yang paling menyerlah adalah The Vamps, 5 Seconds of Summer & Rixton.
The Vamps
Band dari UK ini muncul dengan single pertama mereka, 'Can We Dance' pada tahun 2013. Setakat ini The Vamps telah mengeluarkan 3 singles dan album pertama mereka baru saja dikeluarkan pada awal tahun ini. Dianggotai oleh Brad (Vokal utama), James (Gitar), Connor (Bass) dan Tristan (Drum), band ini mula mendapat tempat di hati peminat apabila menjadi opening artist untuk tour artis lain seperti McFly dan Little Mix. Single pertama mereka 'Can We Dance' memang catchy. Kedengaran seperti lagu Bruno Mars sikit sebab Bruno Mars yang tulis dan producekan lagu ini.
5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS)
5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) mula dikenali apabila mereka telah dipilih sebagai opening act kepada One Direction untuk konsert jelajah album ketiga One Direction. Band dari Australia ini telah mengeluarkan single pertama mereka 'She Looks So Perfect' pada Februari lalu. Dianggotai oleh 4 anak muda dari Australia iaitu Luke (vokal), Michael (Gitar), Calum (Bass) dan Ashton (Drum). Single pertama mereka telah berjaya mengungguli carta di serata dunia termasuklah UK dan Australia.
Rixton
Band Rixton pula mula dikenali apabila video-video cover mereka yang telah diletakkan di Youtube berjaya mendapat perhatian peminat. Rixton mengeluarkan single pertama mereka, 'Me And My Broken Heart' yang berjaya menarik perhatian peminat di serata dunia. Persembahan mereka sebagai artis undangan di The Voice USA berjaya melonjakkan populariti lagu 'Me And My Broken Heart'. Lagu yang menjadikan lagu 'Lonely No More' dari Rob Thomas sebagai sample, memang catchy.
So untuk sesiapa yang pernah suka muzik dari Simple Plan, Busted, McFly, Good Charlotte bolehlah cuba mendengar lagu-lagu dari band-band ini.

Hari ni nak share lirik dan lagu daripada Ella Henderson. Ella Henderson ni merupakan bekas peserta The X Factor UK pada tahun 2012. Dia memang merupakan peserta favorite aku bersama boyband Union J. Tetapi Ella tersingkir semasa pusingan Top 6 which is so ridiculous for someone like her. But Simon Cowell saw her potential dan still signed Ella untuk join company dia, Syco.
So ini adalah single pertama Ella yang berjudul Ghost. Lagu dia memang catchy. Dan Ella juga memiliki bakat menulis lagu yang sangat bagus. Aku suka sangat dengan lirik dia.

First time dengar lagu 'Stay With Me' ni, aku terus jatuh cinta. Terutama sekali vokal penyanyi ni. Memang A class. Sam Smith merupakan penyanyi daripada UK. Album sulung beliau akan keluar pada bulan May. Dia dah releasekan beberapa lagu tapi yang paling aku minat adalah lagu 'Stay With Me'.
Hari ni aku bergotong royong untuk mengemaskan pusat aktiviti yang agak lama jugak tidak dicuci. So balik jer memang letih. Ingat nak tidur tetapi godaan internet sangat kuat. So sedang asyik surf Youtube, terjumpa video ni. Sangat cool bagi aku.
Aku suka sangat dengan lagu Let It Go. Aku pernah dengar yang multi-language version before tapi wajah penyanyi-penyanyi tidak ditonjolkan. Tapi video 'Behind the Mic' ni ada tunjuk muka penyanyi-penyanyi negara lain. Malaysia of courselah diwakili oleh Marsha.
Ini video yang dimaksudkan. Tak sangka jugak banyak language yang aku tak tahu kewujudannya.
Sebelum ni aku pernah dengar lagu Rita Ora tetapi tak adalah lagu yang minat betul-betul. Setakat dengar je. Bagi aku muzik Rita terlalu urban untuk aku. Tetapi aku suka sangat dengan lagu baru daripada Rita Ora. Judulnya ialah I Will Never Let You Down. Sangat catchy dan lain dari lagu-lagu dia before. Beat dia sangat catchy. So hari ni just nak berkongsi lirik lagu ini dengan korang semua.
Sekarang ni, duk asyik ulang album kedua dari Christina Perri jer. So today terfikir nak buat review untuk album ini.
Album yang diberi judul 'Head or Heart' ini dikeluarkan pada 1 April 2014. Masih baru lagi. Album ini merupakan follow up dari album 'debut' Christina Perri pada tahun 2011 iaitu 'Lovestrong'.
Aku actually first time dengar lagu Christina Perri menerusi rancangan 'So You Think You Can Dance'. First time dengar lagu 'Jar of Hearts' terus buat aku berminat untuk follow perkembangan dia. Aku suka sangat dengan first album dia terutama lagu 'Jar of Hearts dan 'Arms'.
Single pertama dari album ini iaitu 'Human' memang sangat menarik. Lirik lagu ini sangat kuat dan aku paling suka part chorus. Antara lagu lain yang aku paling suka adalah 'Burning Gold' yang merupakan antara lagu yang paling rancak dari album. A little bit Ellie Goulding's vibes from the song.
Aku juga suka dengan 'Sea of Lovers' dan 'I Don't Wanna Break'. Two beautiful ballads. Walaupun album ini dipenuhi dengan ballad, aku still tak rasa ianya boring sebab Christina Perri mempunyai tone dan kawalan vokal yang sangat unik. Senarai penuh lagu-lagu dari album ini adalah seperti berikut.
