The Voice Season 6 - Top 10 Live Show

Hello!!!

Last week, Tess was saved from the elimination. Will she become the first singer to avoid the elimination after being saved in the previous week? I'm really nervous for her cause she's my favorite. Here are my recap for this week performance.

1. Kat Perkins (Landslide by Fleetwood Mac)

~ I think it's a very solid performance. I love when Kat controlled her voice because she has such a beautiful tone. However, I'm not sure if this performance able to save her from the bottom 3. But I still like it. B+

2. Tess Boyer (Ain't It Fun by Paramore)

~ Unlike last week, the song this week was current. Currently Top 15 in Itunes Chart. But I don't think this song is suitable for singing competition. Tess did a good job with it. However I still think she's going to end up in the bottom 3 again this week. B+

3. Audra McLaughlin (You Lie by The Band Perry)

~ Audra continued to surprise me. Such a beautiful performance from her. Her high notes was perfect. I love the way she connected to the song. She looked so beautiful. A

4. Josh Kaufman (This Is It by Kenny Loggins)

~ I'm not sure if this is the right song for him. He sounded so dated. Last week he was brilliant but this week it was just an okay performance for me. I still love his voice. B

5. Christina Grimmie (Hold On, We're Going Home by Drake)

~ Christina nailed it again this week. This is definitely my favorite performance from her so far. I love the build up in this performance. Her high notes are amazing. Christina is definitely the one to beat right now and it's going to be tough for other people to beat her. A+

6. Jake Worthington (Run by George Straits)

~ Jake struggled at the beginning. I can't hear what he was singing. But he managed to catch up. His tone is beautiful but for the second week in a row, Jake didn't live up to his potential and I'm really upset with him. B-

7. Bria Kelly (I'm With You by Avril Lavigne)

~ I think this is a perfect song for Bria. She started beautifully but it's all ended when she started to scream. I'm not sure how she's going to survive with this performance. C

8. Delvin Choice (Bright Lights by Gary Clark Jr.)

~ I was ready to give this performance a C but the ending might just save him from the elimination. I still don't like his song choice but he killed it on the last note. B+

9. Kristen Merlin (Let Her Go by The Passenger)

~ For the second week in a row, Kristen stunned me with her vocal performance. She has such a very soothing tone and it is perfect for this song. Her emotion was there and just like that, she became a real threat in this competition. A

10. Sisaundra Lewis (Oh Sherrie by Steve Perry)

~ Unlike Delvin, Sisaundra picked a very interesting song for her and it worked. She rocked the stage and I think rock songs were perfect for her vocal. I'm glad she chose to steer away from R&B/Soul this week. A

Overall, a great week. Lot of great performances. Here is my ranking;

Americal Idol Season 13 - Top 5 Live Show

Hello!!!

The theme this week is 'America's Choice'. America will pick two songs for the contestants this week. Here are my recap for this week show. 

1. Alex Preston (Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood & Say Something by A Great Big World Ft Christina Aguilera)

~ His first performance was so average. His vocal was good but there was nothing special with it. But Alex redeemed himself with his second performance. Say Something was perfect for him. I love the way he connected to the song. It was so tender and sweet. B & A

2. Caleb Johnson (I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith & Still Of The Night by Whitesnake)

~ Really.. That Aerosmith's song.. I'm really tired with that song in the singing competition and even Caleb looked like he didn't like that song choice for him. This performance was definitely his worst performance in this competition. Still Of The Night was much better but it felt so repetitive. It felt like you watched a generic Caleb's performance. C & B+

3. Jessica Meuse (Human by Christina Perri & Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Rey)

~ Jessica wasn't in my Top 2 but she killed it this week. The judges still gave her a lukewarm reaction. I didn't get it at all. That's why Idol kept losing the audience because you can see the bias towards certain contestants. They were like grooved and bobbled their head at other contestants' performance while Jessica, they didn't show any excitement at all. I think Jessica slayed this week. Human was beautiful but she was a little bit sharp at certain notes. Summertime Sadness was perfect. I love everything about that performance. A- & A+

4. Sam Woolf (Sing by Ed Sheeran & How To Save A Life by The Fray)

~ I think Sing was just okay for me. It was good but it wasn't a right choice for him. I like his second performance more. I love the angst that Sam brought into the song. His tone was beautiful but I want him to 'attack' more because it's Top 5 right now. B & B+

5. Jena Irene (My Body by Young The Giant & Valerie by Amy Winehouse)

~ My Body was good. I think Jena has the best stage present this week. I love the way she walked on the stage and connected to the audience. Her vocal wasn't at her best. But for Valerie, I love how she changed the arrangement. It fitted her voice and personality. I love it. B & A

Again, another decent week. Here is my final ranking;

But there was a twist. Contestants get to choose whether to have an elimination or not this week. But next week, two contestants will be eliminated. I didn't like it at all. And I'm glad two contestants voted 'No' so Sam Woolf was eliminated. He was saved once. It's unfair to save him again. Next week the theme are Break-Ups & Make-Ups. Very interesting themes. Hari ni nak share lirik dan lagu daripada Ella Henderson. Ella Henderson ni merupakan bekas peserta The X Factor UK pada tahun 2012. Dia memang merupakan peserta favorite aku bersama boyband Union J. Tetapi Ella tersingkir semasa pusingan Top 6 which is so ridiculous for someone like her. But Simon Cowell saw her potential dan still signed Ella untuk join company dia, Syco. 

So ini adalah single pertama Ella yang berjudul Ghost. Lagu dia memang catchy. Dan Ella juga memiliki bakat menulis lagu yang sangat bagus. Aku suka sangat dengan lirik dia.

Makan-Makan

Hello!!!

Esok nak balik kampung. Dan buat pertama kali aku akan balik ke kampung dengan adik aku yang number 3 aka Abang Chik. Adik aku ni sambung study di Saito College. Aku kalau boleh nak dia sambung IPTA tetapi dah tu pilihan dia.. Nak buat macam mana walaupun result dia memang layak pun masuk IPTA. Tapi aku still juga apply IPTA in case dia tukar fikiran. 

Hari ni just nak share promosi-promosi baru di restaurant yang ada di Malaysia ni. Ada yang aku dah try dan ada juga yang aku masih belum try. 

Red Pepper Chicken at The Chicken Rice Shop

Dah 2 kali aku makan menu ni. Aku suka try menu-menu baru yang ada di TCRS ni. Dahlah aku ni hantu ayam. So apa-apa je yang ada ayam, memang no problem bagi aku. Red Pepper Chicken ni agak pedas juga bagi standard aku yang tak tahan pedas. Tapi sebab rasanya yang sedap, aku redha je lah. 

Grilled Chicken Burger (GCB) at McDonalds

GCB is back!!! Yang ni memang favorite aku. Selain dari Teriyaki Burger di McD aku paling suka GCB. Rasa pattynya yang sangat juicy memang boleh melelehkan air liur aku. Harap2 lama lah sikit tempoh GCB ni sebab aku baru makan sekali. 

Zinger Reloaded at KFC

  

Suka sangat dengan Zinger Reloaded, the upgraded version of original Zinger Burger. Dah cuba sekali dan ingin cuba lagi. 

Bandung Soya at Mr. Bean

Yang pink color tu adalah Bandung Soya yang sememangnya menjadi favorite aku sekarang. Kalau singgah je Mr. Bean, memang itulah yang aku order. Yang bulat tu nama dia soya pancake. Ada macam-macam perisa. Aku punya tu, coklat. Sedap. 

Capri's Wholesome Platters at Capricciosa

Memang nampak wholesome especially to those yang tak boleh buat pilihan macam aku ni. Aku memang suka pergi Capricciosa ni. Pasta dia memang superb. Antara menu yang paling best bagi aku adalah Pasta Seafood Pomodoro, Calamari Fritto, Homemade Spicy Meatballs dan macam2 lagi ada. Platters ni sesuai untuk dua orang. Well kalau yang jenis tak suka makan, tiga orang pun boleh. Untuk aku? Sorang pun boleh habis.. Huhu..
